The
Capitola Historical Museum maintains
extensive collections of photographs
and artifacts related to Capitola's
history, and offers changing exhibits
on the history and art of the area,
as well as on special seasonal and
topical themes. Museum grounds now
include a reconstructed cottage
from the era of the early 20th century
beach resort, and a wash house.

Observatory :

the University of California, providing
UC astronomers with a state a state-of-the-art
research facicity.Lick is located
on the summit of 4200' Mt. Hamilton
in the Diablo Range east of San
Jose, and headquartered at UC's
Santa Cruz campus.
Roaring
Camp Train :
In
1842, Graham established the first
saw mill west of the Mississippi.
Fortunately, the Big Trees here
were spared the woodman’s
axe, and 25 years later became the
first virgin stand of coastal redwoods
to be protected from logging.
Pasa
Tiempo Golf Course :
Pasatiempo
was designed by world-renowned golf
architect Alister MacKenzie. Even
though MacKenzie also designed Augusta
National and Cypress Point, Pasatiempo
was his favorite layout and where
he made his American home, which
still borders the sixth fairway.
Today, this historic top 100 course
is a semi-private golf club that
sets aside certain tee times each
day for public play.
